Activities. We have dedicated activities staff who, along with our care teams, support our residents to take part in stimulating and meaningful activities whether helping them to rekindle an old past times during reminiscence sessions or trying something new. Our activities range from one to one support to group sessions and these are tailored to the individual. We have a dedicated activities room where activities can take place outside of the busy home and a kitchen to help our residents practice their domestic skills.
Catering. At Acorn we pride ourselves on the standard of food we serve to our residents. With menus inspired by our residents on a daily basis we offer choices of cooked breakfasts, home cooked food, with fresh vegetables, and scrumptious homemade cakes always available. Residents also have the chance to cook for themselves in our therapy kitchen.
