Acorn is a specialist care home for working aged adults. Clients will be enabled to lead an active life, expand on their daily living skills and increase independence.
The care staff are experienced and used to facilitating, rather than merely caring, for working aged adults. Staff with a positive vision and attitude is fundamental to our success and are led by a manager who shares, supports and empowers this vision.
Staff understand their role as doing with and involving Clients with every day activities, being imaginative and expanding Clients opportunities and the entire supporting experience.
As part of our recruitment process, selection interviews focus on the staff member’s life skills, their positive attitude to life, being non-judgemental, their ability to be self-aware and their accomplished ability to communicate effectively.
